Capture your day on Super 8 film.
Your film arrives, cut and ready to watch.
I'm a filmmaker based in New York City, specializing in Super 8 film. I don't direct or stage moments, I'm drawn to candid moments and the small details that make a day unforgettable.
Storytelling found me early. I studied film at NYU, where I learned the craft from the ground up. My dad gave me a Super 8 camera as a graduation gift, an upgrade from the one I'd been shooting on for five years, a hand-me-down from my grandfather. I've been making films and chasing beautiful, unrepeatable moments on film ever since.
I love to travel almost as much as I love this work: the chaos of New York City one week, the quiet of rural Vermont the next. I've walked the Camino de Santiago through Portugal and Spain, and gone canyoneering in Moab, Utah. Whatever your day looks like, I can keep up, a small ceremony in Vermont, the energy of New York City, or an elopement in the middle of a canyon. I'm there.
Every package includes hand-developed Super 8, professional 2K scans, and a finished film set to music.
The Vow is a petite package made for NYC City Hall & courthouse ceremonies: in and out, beautifully on film.
Travel beyond New York quoted per trip · Custom & destination packages welcome
Super 8 is a small-format motion picture film introduced by Kodak in 1965. It has a soft, grainy, warm look that digital can't truly replicate. Each cartridge holds about 3.5 minutes, so every shot is intentional.
Super 8 itself is silent, so most films are set to music. On The Heirloom I also record live audio separately (your vows, a toast, the room) and weave it into the edit.
On average, your film is delivered within 8–10 weeks of your wedding. Super 8 is a craft process that can't be rushed, but the result is a timeless film treated with the care it deserves. You'll get timeline updates throughout, so you always know where your film stands.
Yes, always. I'm based in New York City, and coverage within 75 miles (Westchester, Long Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, and the Hudson Valley) is included. For destinations beyond that, anywhere in the U.S. or abroad, travel is quoted per trip based on distance and logistics. Reach out with your location and I'll send a custom quote; destination weddings are some of my favorite to shoot.
I'm prepared for anything: rain, snow, wind. I've got the gear and the mindset to work in all conditions, and some of the most beautiful film moments happen in unexpected weather. If your day involves a little adventure (hiking, mountains, and everything in between), I'm built for it.
Absolutely. I'm a quiet, low-footprint add-on. I stay out of your photo and video team's way and never pull focus from the moment. Most couples book me alongside their main photographer.
I'm currently booking Summer 2026 with availability for select dates, and I only take a limited number of weddings each year so every couple gets my full attention and the highest-quality film. For elopements and courthouse ceremonies I can often accommodate shorter timelines, even 4 to 6 weeks out. If your date is coming up soon, reach out anyway; the earlier you book, the more time we have to plan.
